Exploring Ancient Egypt:

Day 1: Thursday, October 1st Cairo

Arrive in Cairo. You will be met by our local tour representative, who will assist you to obtain your Egypt Tourist Visa, clear Immigrations, claim your luggage and then escort you through Customs to your motorcoach. Transfer by private air-conditioned motor coach to your luxurious 4-Star hotel near the Great Pyramid and Sphinx. Check in. Explore your beautiful surroundings. Lunch and Dinner on your own at one of the hotel’s restaurants. Overnight Giza.

Day 2: Friday, October 2nd Saqqara, Giza Plateau

After your buffet breakfast, you’re off to visit the ancient necropolis at Sakkara, where you will see the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, perhaps the oldest known pyramid in Egypt, and the tombs and mastabas of the nobles. At "the hospital" you will experience a unique opportunity for a sound healing meditation, as you place your head in the niches and tone, as the ancient priests and priestesses did.

Enjoy a lunch of traditional Egyptian cuisine at an open-air restaurant on your way back to Giza. Explore the Plateau;

you'll view the world-renowned Great Pyramid and the Sphinx. (Option to enter the Great Pyramid; price additional.) Return to the hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight Giza. Meals; B & L


Day 3: Saturday, Oct 3rd To Luxor - Cruise Ship, Valley of the Kings / Hatshepsut's Temple

Hatshepsut's Temple Djeser DjeseruAfter breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival you will be greeted by our local tour representative who will assist you to transfer to your cruise ship. After settling in, you'll leave the ship, crossing the Nile to the West Bank to visit some of the pharaoh's tombs in the Valley of the Kings, as well as some of the tombs of their wives and children in the Valley of the Queens. And the funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most famous of the few handful of the female Pharaohs. Her mortuary temple, Djeser Djeseru ("Splendor of Splendors"), is one of the most dramatically situated in the world and was designed by her architect Senenmut. Visit the Birth Colonnade, the Anubis Chapel, the Punt Colonnade, the Chapel of Hathor and the Upper Terrace, where the Sanctuary of Hatshepsut and the Sanctuary of Amun are located.

Another highlight of your morning’s visit will be to Q'uar el Aguz, the Ptolemaic period oracular temple of Thoth and Imhotep on the West Bank.

Return to the ship for lunch on board.
Toth and Imhotep Temples

Your afternoon visit will be to the magnificent Temples of Karnak and Luxor. Once connected to Luxor Temple, two miles away, by a long avenue of Sphinxes (which are still partially intact), Karnak Temple is dedicated to Amon-Ra, the Power of Creation, and his wife Mut. The Temple is the largest columned temple in the world. Visit the Festival Hall of Tuthmosis III, where some Rosacrucians believe their spiritual tradition originated. Some researchers indicate that it was here where Tuthmosis III reorganized the ancient Mystery Schools of Thoth and founded the Royal School of the Master Craftsmen, which came to be known as the Great White Brotherhood. Stand at the Sacred Lake in a silent meditation to invite in the energies of purification, symbolically giving whatever you need to purify to the waters, knowing that it will be taken in and transmuted. Then continue to Luxor Temple, believed by Symbolist Schwaller de Lubicz, who Karnak Temple Statues
spent many years researching the temple, to be laid out in the shape of the human anatomy, thus giving it the name the Temple of Man.

Day 4: Sunday, October 4th Sailing on the Nile

Spend the entire day on the Nile, as you sail to Esna. Esna is located about 33 miles south of Luxor. The town's Greek name was Latopolis and here fish (lates) where thought to embody the goddess Neith, who was sacred to the area. At Esna you go through the locks, arriving at Edfu tonight. Edfu was the Greek city of Apollinopolis Magna, and is a religious and commercial center.

On The Nile

Day 5: Monday, October 5th Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

Morning Horse-drawn Carriage Ride A brisk horse-drawn carriage ride brings you to Edfu Temple, dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed God who is the son of Isis and Osiris.

The temple complex is one of the finest examples of Ptolemaic art in Egypt and perhaps one of the best preserved of the entire ancient world. Explore the various temples, viewing the richly decorated important scenes related to the divinities associated with the cult of Horus: Osiris, Isis, Sokar, and Khonsu.

Return to the cruise ship for lunch onboard.


Sail to Kom Ombo a magnificent energy-filled ruins overlooking the river. Your visit will take you through this famous dual temple dedicated to the Neters Sobek and Haoeris, (Horus the Elder), an early form of Horus. Call upon Sobek to help you to overcome an fears that are keeping your from uniting with the energies of Horus, symbol of your Higher Self.

Return to the cruise ship. Sail to Aswan and dock for the night. Dinner onboard. Overnight Cruise Ship. Meals; B L D

Day 6: Tuesday, Oct 6th Temple of Isis, Aswan Dam, Unfinished Obelisk / To Cairo

Temple of Isis

Check out of the cruise ship after breakfast. Your visit this morning is to the Temple of Isis, dedicate to this Goddess of Healing and Magic who was the wife/sister of Osiris, and mother of Horus. Her worship lasted here until the 6th century CE, when it was outlawed by the Emperor Justinian. Though it died out here, Her influence spread to Greece and Rome and on throughout Europe. Continue on to view the Aswan Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk in an ancient granite quarry. Transfer to the airport and check in for your flight to Cairo. On arrival you'll be met by our local tour representative who will assist you to claim your luggage and then transfer to your hotel near the airport. Overnight Cairo. Meals; B

Day 7: Wednesday, October 7th Depart Egypt

After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the airport for your international flight. Meals; B
